In the symphony of existence, rest is the quiet interlude that allows the music of our souls to breathe.

As we explore together in this Echoes of Our Universe series, I draw upon a rich tapestry of perspectives, opinions, and insights. It's important to me that we move beyond the limitations of rigid categories like religious beliefs, worldly labels, or political affiliations. I see each human as a beautiful spirit, inherently connected to our Maker or Creator. So, while this quote comes from my 'Thriving as an Empath’ book, its wisdom embraces us all, regardless of whether we identify with 'empath' tendencies.

To truly know and honor our physical and emotional limits is an act of profound self-compassion. It is listening to the tender whispers of our inner landscape, acknowledging when we need to retreat into stillness, and having the courage to do so without judgment.

On my own journey, I've discovered that pushing beyond my edges leads to a dimming of my inner light, a silencing of my creative voice, and a disconnection from the wellspring of my intuition. Collectively, I also can’t help to notice that I also require longer or deeper bouts of recovery. This makes my runway of connection a little longer, with a little more effort required. Knowing this is gently motivating, allowing me to instead reshuffle and reprioritize my self-care.

Rest is not surrender; it's a sacred pause—a moment of quietude where we can reconnect with our essence and restore the luminous energy within. An exhale.

Within this stillness, clarity emerges like a gentle dawn, our energy returns in flowing waves, and inspiration dances on the edges of our awareness.

In these moments, the quiet knowing of our soul can be heard, guiding us forward with renewed purpose and graceful strength.

It's a concept I've felt resonate deeply within my own journey, observing how shifting my mental landscape (down to the individual thoughts themselves) has transformed my life journey and experience.

In the tapestry of our existence, each thought is a thread, weaving together the fabric of our lives.

Within the "Echoes of Our Universe" series, we often explore the interconnectedness of all things. This principle extends to our very thoughts. They are not mere fleeting images but potent energies that ripple outwards, aligning us with corresponding experiences.

When we nurture thoughts of abundance, joy, and possibility, we open ourselves to receive those very vibrations from the universe. Conversely, dwelling on negativity or limitation can create a reality that mirrors those patterns.

It reminds me that often, our most significant breakthroughs happen when we release the need to control every outcome and trust that we are being guided. Expansion is just on the other side of the discomfort…

It's about opening ourselves up as vessels, allowing inspiration and wisdom to flow through us, and into the world. We often don’t ponder that next step, that the inspired actions that we may receive and then take are actually what help us most. We often get in our own way, rationalizing or justifying with our minds and thoughts (“I don’t have the energy for that” or “I don’t have time to do that!”) instead of seeing what may happen if we do✨.

Today, this is a potent reminder to invite a sense of unhurriedness, tune into our intuition, and trust the process flow.

What is the ‘Echoes of Our Universe’ series?✨

In this series, Echoes of Our Universe, I share soulful notes of inspiration and wisdom to empower your journey. I explore how the wisdom of the Universe resonates in many forms – through resonant quotes, channeled messages, and reflections on life's experiences – all illuminating universal themes. My intention is to offer you reminders that foster self-discovery, resilience, and a deeper understanding of how everything is connected, inviting you to embrace your own power with certainty and grace, recognizing that we are all a part of the beautiful symphony of existence.

What are the ‘Echoes of Our Universe’?✨

The ‘Echoes of Our Universe’ are plentiful and deep.

In the ‘information age’, there is no shortage of…information.

Words. Data. Perspectives. Opinions. Conclusions.

👉 But what about the connections?

My more profound passion in life has always been about connecting things together.

I invested over 20+ years of my professional career in Tech & Corporate Talent Acquisition, diligently connecting thousands of humans together. The data of my stint? I poured myself into over 55,000+ hours of interviewing (that’s 5x the level of respected “mastery”), where I interviewed over 27,000+ humans, and hired them into teams led by key team leaders (totaling over 5,000+).

Listening and connecting details are my refined superpowers 😆✨…

I have read and ingested thousands and thousands of resources, books, articles, notes, and even the details deemed “useless”.

Hoarding information is not knowledge. It’s not wisdom either.

Instead, I believe that between these data points is where the magic really resides; aka, the connections. The connections between them and the connections with others. So this is where I’ve made my own personal study of how to connect these all together.

Do I see any parallels?
Do I hear any similarities?
Has someone else mentioned this topic, experienced this challenge, or surpassed this roadblock?
Is there any other person mentioning an outlier perspective (aka a one-off)?

Equipped with insatiable curiosity and a knack for interviewing (aka synthesizing millions of details into connections that matter, down into the deep, intricate, and never-seen), I look for the difference, and then interweave the connections that make up our collective human experience.

FUN FACT: In the early 16th century, “interviewing” was formally known as “enterviewing”. It’s from the French word “entrevue”, which is a noun from the word s’entrevoir (which means “to see each other or have a glimpse of”) of which entre- (means “between”) and voir (means “to see”). As the word evolved over our time, it has related more to what we refer to it as today, but usually with the intent to publish or share what one has said.
For me, this means to listen, to hear, to see, to ingest the essence of what one is saying, anchoring in the words and conencting back to their themes, then sharing the synthesized or connected findings.
My interviewing career, and practice of deep listening and synthesis, continues on into 'Echoes of Our Universe’.

All of these pieces of perspective and information are what I call ‘echoes’. They continue to echo into the here and now, spanning across the spectrums of space and time.

The ‘Building Blocks’ of ‘Echoes of Our Universe’

This lifelong pursuit of connection has led me to create 'Echoes of Our Universe,' where I'll share how these interconnected 'building blocks' form a foundation for deeper understanding.

Here are the building blocks:

Echoes Defined:
Let's explore what 'echoes' truly are. Beyond sounds bouncing back, echoes are the beautiful reflections of ideas, feelings, and experiences that mirror back to us across space and time. They're the wisdom shared, the lessons learned, and the insights revealed through stories, quotes, and even the forces and experiential elements of our world like Mother Nature herself.

The Power of a Quote:
Think about a quote that has deeply moved you. That's the power of an echo – a piece of wisdom, reflected from an author or speaker, illuminating a truth within you. It sparks a feeling, a recognition, a sense of connection. These quotes will be from a combination of sources, including interviews I conduct, readings from books and articles, formal and informal (published and unpublished) resources, as well as learnings and gatherings from my own experience, and the experience of others. I also channel messages from my Soul Support Squad (including my Guides, Ancestors, and Angels). All to illuminate the wisdom and the pathways of connection between them.

Our Universe:
Now, let's talk about 'Our Universe.' Not 'the' universe, as if we're separate from it, but Our Universe – the one we're all a part of. We are it, and it is us. 'Our' speaks to belonging, togetherness, and the interconnectedness that Life Journey: empowered is all about.

The Universe as Energy:
The Universe, to me, is everything – all centered in energy. It's the energy that creates all matter and all that we experience. We are energy, and the Universe is this vast expanse where time is simply a construct to help us understand our place within it.

Timeless Wisdom:
In 'Echoes of Our Universe,' we'll explore how wisdom from the past is timelessly relevant today. A quote from 100+ years ago can resonate with a fresh power of connection, reminding us of truths we may have forgotten.

What to Expect:
I envision sharing these 'Echoes' following the flow of inspiration, so there might be a handful of messages weekly when the energy is more profound, or intertwined every other day as more illumination arises to the surface.

The Bigger Picture:
These 'Echoes' are also seeds for something larger. I'm weaving them into books, organized by themes, to empower us to explore other ways to connect with them. I also plan on sharing quote images that you can save as reminders of the truth resonating within you, as you uncover each one.

Interconnectedness:
At the heart of 'Echoes of Our Universe' is the interconnectedness of all things. Quotes, channeled messages, nature's rhythms – they're all connected, reminding us that we're never truly alone and that everything is part of a beautiful, ever-evolving whole.
