My Journey: Weaving Life's Tapestry
My own Life Journey has been anything but linear.
Like so many of us, Iâve navigated my fair share of challenges, heartbreaks, and unexpected twists and turns. These experiences, no matter how messy or unexpected, have always been opportunities for growth and transformation.
đŞˇâ¨ I've learned that my greatest lessons and breakthroughs often come from my most challenging experiences.
My path into understanding human behavior began early, a necessity born from navigating the complexities of domestic violence in childhood. This experience profoundly illuminated the subtle nuances of human interaction and the unspoken language of behavior for me.
Later, I dove into a 20+ year corporate career in Talent Acquisition. Over the course of more than 55,000 hours, I have interviewed over 27,000 people and reviewed over 100,000 resumes. I partnered with over 5,000 hiring leaders, essentially turning every conversation or interview into thousands of âexperimentsâ. I conducted each to understand how people truly expressed their potential. I didnât just observe, I deeply listened. Every interaction became a clue to understanding intrinsic motivations and deeper desires.
đŞˇâ¨ This profound study taught me to see people deeply â their drives, fears, and hopes â and became my passion for "potential-spotting".
Then, in my 40th year on this lovely planet, I consciously decided to embark on a profound personal and professional evolution. I made a drastic pivot away from my corporate role to follow my heart toward what I know Iâm truly meant to do. This decision was a powerful manifestation of my Channel 60-3 (Mutation) (for all of you out there who love Human Design! đâ¨), which is designed to bring powerful, sometimes sudden, new patterns into being, bringing order to chaos. It felt like stepping into my ascended next residence for my soul. The feeling of "being eaten alive" in corporate environments confirmed the frustration of operating out of alignment.
I now dedicate my time to two paths: continuing to share the secrets of âThe Hiring Gamesâ˘â through books (like âThe Interview Advantageâ) and my articles on Substack (via Career Clarity) â which now serves more as an archive and resource hub than an active blog â and here, on Life Journey: empowered. đĽłâ¨

Here, my purpose is to share the pages of my own Live Journey, including current learnings and past wisdom, and to build a community of beautiful souls who support one another. I've discovered that true fulfillment comes not from achieving external goals, but from embracing the whole human experienceâthe messy, the beautiful, and everything in between.
My life has been a tapestry of profound experiences â from navigating complex family dynamics and significant health challenges to career transformations, deep spiritual awakenings, and finding true love.
